I'm taking care of my roommate, she's infected, but I can create telekenetic shields around objects or people if they need to be moved. I can fly, too.

And since I've already been exposed, but haven't been affected, the other patients might not feel bad having me around?

Can you? Oh, that would be useful to have... but if you're already looking after someone, could you bring them to the hospital? We've cleared out a section for carriers of the Geostigma virus.

...I hate to sound like I'm insisting on this, but would it be too much trouble for you to maintain the shields around patients while moving them? I can probably summon and maintain shields of my own without losing my own energy, but I don't think everyone will be able to without tiring themselves out... Please, if you could help at all...

I'll have to ask her if she wants to be moved. We're isolated at a cabin right now and she feels safe here, like she won't infect anyone.

But yeah, just let me know where and when. I' can maintain shields on the infected and myself, since I think I'm a carrier.

We're working on a cure, it'd be best if she was in the same area where we could administer it as soon as possible. We could also try and keep your conditions from worsening, all of the healers here are doing their best to keep the infection from spreading.

That's an incredibly long story and considering the curse today, one I think better left untold. Otherwise we'll be here a while. It suffices to say that I believe the infection was dormant for a long time. I sustained an injury in the assault on the Major's zeppelin, and it allowed the infection to gain ground.

It is alive. It's an alien from our home called Jenova. Her cells can move independently, and they attempt to infect and subvert -- anyone they can, really.

Oh my... that's... that's a parasitic infection, and the only way to stop its reproduction in the City is to isolate everyone who has been contaminated.

I'd better get this to the medical department-- oh bollocks, shut up, Megumi--

Ah, I'm sorry, Mr. Reeve. But if what you're saying is how it is, then we can't waste any more time. I'm going to need you in the hospital-- we've already started to set up shields to protect the contamination from spreading via air, but we have to stabilise everyone's conditions.
