I don't feel badly about it in the least, nor should you. It was due to a curse. But, I admit, some part of it wasn't caused by the curse. And I don't regret that side of it either.

I suppose my only concern is Guy, since I know you and he are very close. If he hears of this, I hope that he'll be understanding of it. As I said, part of it was caused by the curse, but, as I know you know, part of it wasn't. It's that second half that concerns me much as I enjoyed it.

But, yes, I think I understand some things now myself. And I think they can only keep us strong.

Shouldn't I be the one thanking you?

Heh, I know... I don't intend to hide it from Guy, even if it was due to a curse. Some part of me was more than happy that it was you, and I suppose that translated strongly enough during the curse for things to go as they did.

You've already thanked me. It was rather nice to be able to live a bit of a romance novel, heh.

I suppose that is the explanation. It's often enough that what we feel ordinarily is emphasized or exaggerated during a curse. And I think that's absolutely what happened to us.

So you mean to tell him, then?

I admit I enjoyed it too, though it didn't seem quite so fantastic to me as a novel might.

It wouldn't be too far from the truth though, would it.. Mm. I hardly think it would have been as memorable had it not been you. Heh, I think every girl fancies having a lovely romantic adventure at least once in her life, and what better person to have it with than a real Earl, hm?

As for Guy, curse or not, he deserves to know. I would rather he not learn it in a way that would hurt him, ways that Alexis would employ...

It can certainly get strange, especially with curses like that last one. I would just hope there's enough understanding among people to avoid that sort of thing.
