I've been back at the hospital... just seeing all these patients and detecting what I have is making it clear this is indeed no curse.

Klavier Gavin... he was the first one I investigated... This is not something I am familiar with. It's just like that time, with Light...I... I think I'm managing to figure out how this particular problem is ( Read more... )

Yes, that's exactly it: like a sedative working in the wrong ways. But you can heal it, can't you? There is an antidote to it, but I'm not sure where it could be gotten at the moment.

I can halt its process and then work on eliminating it. The effectiveness of my healing will vary by person, but I'm certain I can do it.

What does the antidote comprise of? I'm familiar with potions, so if I get time, I could help make a remedy.

Good, I'm glad to hear it, but I'd rather you not exhaust yourself when there's an antidote out there.

It's complex, but not impossible. It's the inverse of the original poison, really. I don't remember all the ingredients in it, but anything can be found in this City--if I can't find the antidote itself, I'll find the recipe for it.

And I can help as much as you can at making it or finding it, you know.

[ooc: Dude. I have no freaking clue what the antidote would be >>;;]

I'd need the poison itself to work from, if that's the case, and I doubt we'll be getting any. But do let me know if you can locate the ingredients, and the amount to be used. Let's work as fast as we can.

...until then, I'll use my magic. I just wish I was at full strength... so long as he has my hair, I cannot use it to its fullest extent.

A sedative in all the wrong ways... and the rats, to.

This whole thing is just cruel, Miss Megumi.

Rats... so those other patients were victims of them. I'd only assumed...

Don't worry, Lyra. Whoever has done this will be punished.

It's how one of the other infections is being spread.

I know. I'm going to help, to!

Good luck, then. We need all the help we can get.

I can kill it.

How do you plan on doing so? I have my magic, and Cain has said there's an antidote...

That's hard to explain but it doesn't require much effort. It does require a lot to find out who has what though....

I can handle that. We shouldn't wear ourselves thin, though. If we focus on one, we can tackle it faster. There are others who are handling the rest, and can probably do them better.

Please be careful. I'll help you in whatever way I can.
