god cant the LEA put you through as a "new system" student and let you have a tuition fee loan like all the other new students, your starting from year one for god's sake. i hate them i hate them ( ... )

Hey honey, thanks for the advice. I did sit down and talk to Student Services on my second day, who are supposed to have been helping me through all this. Unfortunately, despite my application for the Access to Learning fund, they have said that I am not eligible because I would be using it for tuition fees, not living costs. So you know what, I might just pay the fees and then apply for it saying "guess what?! I've no money to live now ( ... )

Hey-ho, are you in Brighton on November 25th (a saturday)? If so, would you and Alex like to go out for dinner with me and my sister, as we'll be visiting the fine city to take in some culture at your local theatre ;)

Seriously though, that would be interesting! I will no doubt be working on that Saturday so it would have to be after 6pm, other than that I'm sure it's do-able, albeit on a tight budget. What are you coming to see? :)

Blood Brothers (again) - I took her to see it in Bristol, she went to see it in London last week, and we're going to see it in Brighton too (because I got half the cast to sign a programme in Bristol and she wants to finish it off).

I think we'll probably be in the theatre till around 6 (afternoon matinee thing), then we'll be lurking near the stage doors hoping to catch Linda Nolan. I'll just double-check the times and things, since I have awful memory.

Will be cool to catch up with you two again ;)
