Yay for getting internet at home. If I was you I'd check out if there are any gym facilities in your university, a lot of them have those. Or see if there are any local gyms that run special offers in conjunction with your university, you might be able to get a discount.
The university has a main sports arena/gym in Mouslecomb campus, which is in the middle of nowhere. I may still look into doing it, especially once I've got my bus pass sorted. They also have a swimming pool in Eastbourne, which is just... way too far. I may have a look at their facilities to see if it's worth the trip, I mean, it can't be worse than going to Gunwharf, right? :P I've been reading about your gym escapades - go you!!! I really am, I've only been once this week (my personal trainer session) and I've been really pissed off that I couldn't go more because of my stinking cold. So extra times next week, but I don't mind that because I love it! I actually held my arms out and shook them today and the jelly wobble has gone, which makes me so fricking happy it's untrue.
Save money on a gym by lifting baked bean tins for weight (do not open and eat!) and walking relentlessly up and down stairs instead of a treadmill. Yes, it's not glamourous and you feel a little silly (especially in our place, we only have 3 steps!) but you can listen to whatever music you like and sing along as loud as you want!
Lol, well that is very true, but as you do, we only have 3 steps! I like the gym because of the variety of exercises I can do in a short space of time. Also, the temptation to eat the beans afterwards would probably win over the effort expended by lifting them... ;)
my mum just freaked me out by giving me money for my bus pass and printer ink.......could someone pinch me...oh no wait all my ruined childhood stuff was still in the torrential rained on shed.....ah there we go, back to reality.
