I really enjoyed 'Mosquito Squadron' but you are right. The ending is brutal.

So was David the headliner? It definitely sounds like he was the main character, from your description. Man, that movie honestly sounds terrible. Beautifully acted, but really cheap and shoddy regarding his poor friend, and that would ruin the whole thing. Yes, it really does sound like one of those idiotic ways out of a love triangle.

I still need to re-watch The Gazebo in the Maze Affair and see if I can feel any of the love for it and Partridge that you do. Villains that have backstories with the heroes are certainly intriguing.

I didn't much like the "innocent" in The Casbah Affair, I'll give you that. I haven't liked him on either of the occasions I've watched that episode. I tried to see it from his POV, but sometimes it is really hard to like particular characters who make life miserable for the protagonists....

Yes, he was the headliner--top billing! But yeaaaaah, the acting was great, while the writing... not so much. Tempted to do a fix-it for this, too...

Yessss. Hope you enjoy it!

Yeeep. Bleh.
