I'm happy to say that aside from a few shoehorned moments of questionable content, the premiere ep of A Gifted Man was very enjoyable and met my expectations! Patrick Wilson's character is quite complex--he's a cynic but a genius, and is somewhat abrasive. He also seems to have an interesting friendship with his nephew, who seems to be getting

Yeah Belle is my favorite heroine too. I always identified with her love of reading too.
