I HEAR YOU. I used to lose things in my STUDIO apt and it's worse now. I'm getting better though. I walk in, toe off my shoes, and put my keys in a little dish by the stairs. I made myself get into this habit so when, by chance, the keys AREN'T in the dish, I start to approach heart failure because WHY WOULD THE KEYS NOT BE IN THE DISH?! THE DISH DEFINES THEIR EXISTENCE WHY IS THIS WHAT IS HAPPENING?!

lol. Same here! No dish, but I ALWAYS put them beside my purse on the table as soon as I come in.

The only reason I didn't do that yesterday is, I guess, because I had some library books with me. But still; I have no idea why more than a year's worth of habit suddenly fled out the window.

I'm glad to hear that you did find them! I hate when I lose something in such a small space, though in my case, its usually within my purse. And its not even a big purse!!!

I looked through my purse three times, then dumped it out in case I had somehow still missed them. But, yeah, it's weird how things can get lost in a small purse!
