Anyway, my writing group thinks I should submit my novel to Tor since they accept unsolicited manuscripts and I think I will. The good thing about this is that I'm not scared of rejection, since I know it's inevitable. I'm simply curious as

At least your writing! I'd be so nervous I couldn't touch the keyboard ;) I'm happy that you're looking at it again, though. If it was "nearly publishable" when you started writing, imagine how it'll be once you start it again! I say, no worries! Everything will work out somehow.
