I've only seen bits of FMA, but what I've seen is good, and my sister loves it, which means it's almost certainly cool. Maybe if you get really sucked in, I'll have to try it.

I've seen four eps of FMA and so far they're really good. Good character work and plot so far. Go for it I say! I saw the first two online, but I'm netflix-ing the rest.
