A few weeks ago I happened to be in my younger brother's room to borrow the spare cord to connect my laptop to the internet, and I happened to notice the Lord of the Rings video game he has for his Xbox ( Read more... )

Yay for video games! I never had a Nintendo or anything growing up, but I always played those old games at my cousins' house. Then, a few years ago, my brother got a Gamecube...and I got hooked. Not obsessively, but it's a nice stress-reliever, smashing up monsters with a sword after a long, tiring day.... :D

I haven't played many of the LotR games, though we do have one called "The Third Age" which is pretty fun. Of the Harry Potter games, I thought GoF was kind of lame...but OotP looks cool, so I may have to force my brother into renting it one of these days.

Yes, exactly! We can't do those to our annoying co-workers (or classmates in your case) so random bad guys are good for that. ^_^

My brother has "Third Age" too! I've played it all the way through, though I was a bit disappointed with how the story ended up. It felt a little rushed to me. But whatever! Right now I'm hooked on a game called "Fable". It's pretty sweet.

I haven't been able to find any Harry Potter games at Blockbuster, but I did find the Avatar one. XD
