I just finished the second season of the Great British Sewing Bee last week. Sewing resurgence! I have thoughts but that's about it. :-)

I haven't watched any of S2 of TGBSB! Eeep! And it's longer than season one, from what I've heard. (That's all that I know so far.) I need to hunt it down to watch sometime this week.

I'm lucky, my mother started teaching me to sew when I was fairly young. I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but I can get by in basic alterations, and can sew most things from scratch, if I want to do so badly enough. Clothes are so cheap nowadays that there's not much point; sewing used to be a way to save money, but it really isn't that anymore.
