I'm told that mother lions will fake a stronger reaction when her cubs bite to encourage. "Oh, you're biting me so hard ..."

I've heard that too. I've certainly seen a momma cat swish her tail near her kitten while looking the other way, which I think she's doing on purpose. Not that kittens don't hunt their own tails.

Speaking of cats, how's yours doing?
