Sorry to hear this! One of my BFs just had rotator cuff surgery last week - she's doing pretty good.

If you do have surgery, it's not a big deal, sweets. My father went through it, my uncle's gone through 3 of them, my cousin just went through one where they had to reattach the muscle over a hook in his shoulder to help it reattach. They're all a bunch of overused dollies that needed to be restrung. My father went through the rehab and was back to his old cranky self in less than 6 months, even though they were predicting a year. My stupid uncle was back to his self in 3 months, but he violated doctor orders and jerked up on heavy shit and had to have rehab again. If these morons can do it, you will get through this. Not going to say there won't be pain, but the pain is good pain, healing pain.

Eeeek!

Do you mean they had to put an actual hook in? o.O

They're all a bunch of overused dollies that needed to be restrung.

I really like that image. I'm an old dolly! My mom is going to love that.

Good pain, hah! But, yeah.

From what I heard, it was a small surgical formation implanted in the bone.

Dolls used to be strung together from the inside to make them more articulated.

Oh, honey, there is good pain. Reeaaaalllll good pain. If done right.
