Shouldn't the French be bigger than the English in the borg picture?

Hmmm, good question. Although you really have to start with what language(s) should be used in the first place. And I think that would depend on the origin of the Canadian Borg collective.

(Since the Borg is a collective, it properly should be referred to in the singular, but the show uses plural nouns, as does the macro, so I'll stick with that.)

Were they independently created by Canada, and named after the original Borg, or did the alien Borg show up and take over Canada? If Canada made them, wouldn't they speak the language of the government at the time they were created?

Or would all languages spoken in Canada have to be included? And how about the translation to those about to be assimilated? Shouldn't those be in all Earth languages of the time? (Extrapolate those to the universe as necessary.)

You could end up with too much to fit on the macro. Unless you want to assume a universal translator, which ruins the joke, and...aw, c'mon. It's clearly US-centric anyw--OMG, countrywank incoming! Now that's scary ( ... )
