The black-and-gold ninja bot heard an engine rev, didn't realize it was his at first. He transformed into his earth-alt form and raced off, following the pale-blue form of a verbose speeder. Prowl had a Autobot to corral.
Blurr laughed as he ran. He was the fastest mech on land, and nomech could come close. This earth-bound half-trained ninja thought he could catch up with him?
The two bots zoomed all-over Detroit, Blurr always in the lead, but never pulling ahead. At first, this lack of distance separating them did not concern Blurr, until he realized Prowl, instead of falling back as even Bumblebee did in an earlier race, Prowl was catching up.
Blurr put on a burst of speed, zipping around the corner, causing his pursuer to loose sight for a moment. Blurr immediately transformed into mech form, and crouched, ready to flash-tail out the second Prowl turned the corner.
Instead of following the plan, Prowl did not race around the corner, being trapped in going the wrong direction. Instead, the black-and-gold mech tapped the blue mech on the shoulder. "Boo."
Blurr slumped. "IcanoutruneverylivingthingonCybertronandEarth. Howcomeyou,slowerthantheyellowincompeitentexEliteGuardtrainnee,wereabletocatchme? How? Ineedtoknow,soIcanavoidbeingdetectedbyDecepticons."
Prowl did not even attempt to decipher what Blurr had blurted out in a rush. But he could take a guess. "Too predictable. You took the same route earlier. Bad form, repeating oneself."
