We have been having some adventures, though none involving sea turtles, sadly. I have been catching up on important things, like napping, reading novels, trying new exotic drinks. He mews piteously under the window, at the front door. The other morning he climbed up the screen door and that really woke me up! He acts like he has never seen food before. But if I get up and give him food and then walk away, he follows me rather than staying to eat his food. There is a mixture of eating and petting that must occur to keep him content. He's very sweet.

We did go snorkeling but it was so cloudy it was difficult to see. So we walked along hte beach and came upon a monk seal and her cub on the beach. There we also saw the "monk seal response team" as their t-shirts proclaimed, observing all the mom and pup behavior. All in all, a very good day.

I'm new to LJ and found your entry when looking for people with my same interests. I snorkel here in Northwest FL. But unfortunately I don't run into turtles. Your so lucky. I'm envious... :)
