< Rosie's Reading Update >

Finished listening to Airborn on CD. I liked it, but didn't love it. Still, it was good enough that I'm going on with the sequel, though I'm not entirely sure I would if I were reading them instead of listening to them.

Today I read The Stone Fey by Robin McKinley. Was I the only person to not know about the existence of this? I felt like a poor ( Read more... )

Girl, you are reading too many books at once! I don't know how you do it, my brain would asplode.

I think Dandelion Wine *should* be read slowly, soaking in every word and image. When I read Airborn I thought it was great, but I never picked up the sequels, either. Are they making a movie out of it?

Everyone I know LOVED Skybreaker so I'm hoping I'll love it, too.

Stone Fey was such an interesting story. I was so relieved at the ending.

Dandelion Wine is perfect for reading at this time of year. It's like reading a description of something as you watch it unfold in real life. You're right about it going slowly, though. Books that are largely anecdotal always seem to be that way.
