Seriously, this is worse than the vampire hunters. Late this morning* I woke up to the sound of a wall collapsing. The entire building was shaking. This went on for a couple of hours. I got a letter today from the SKM, telling me to pay a huge fine within seven days, or else. It doesn't even really say what the hell I've been fined for. I called, introduced myself and... was told that I am not there. Wow, that was helpful.

I've just accidentally run into a professor and he told me something nobody bothered to tell me before. All this semester I've been wasting my time attending the wrong course. And this is because the one I was supposed to attend doesn't seem to even exist. I assumed the teachers knew what they were doing. They didn't. And this is my fault... ( Read more... )

This exam season is even stranger than usual. I'm spending a lot more time asking questions than answering them. Meanwile at the Dean's Office one problem has been solved and another one has been created. Also, I only found out today (and it was not easy) that I have an exam tomorrow morning. Yay.
At least it looks like I've finally got a job.

The Dean was actually very kind and helpful, but, as usual, everything depends on the lady at the Dean's Office. And she said she's going to sort it out eventually. Probably. Maybe. I asked her when exactly, but she says she has no idea. Because how is she supposed to know when she's going to do her damn job?

Good News: Today I got another 5 and two job offers.

Bad News: Still nowere to write my grades down. The lady at the Dean's Office is just as confused about the whole thing as I am. Tomorrow I'll have to go and argue with the Dean personally. Again.

The good news is that I got a 5 today (Note to foreigners and people who have been living under a rock or something: This is the highest possible grade at most Polish universities. Some professors are rumoured not to believe it exists).
The bad news is that the Dean's Office screwed up once again and there was nowhere to officially write it down.
