This rarely happens but when it does...! I am on the warpath, the book warpath that is. I need to get my hands on Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey NOW. I don't know which would be quicker: to place a hold on it at the library or run out and buy a copy

I have read Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, and a little bit of Emma, though. Jane Austen is one of my favorite authors, (yours as well, I'm sure), so I should read the book soon. =D
Fanfiction is, in most cases, my best friend ;), so I will look up NA fanfiction for fun. :) Also, possibly, to get me hooked. =D

Yes, I highly recommend that you do! What I've read so far has been wonderful, plus it is holding me until I get my hands on the actual book. :D
P.S. I like your icon "& it breaks my heart."

Jane Austen will always be one of my favorite authors.
I will be sure to look them up soon. :)

=D I know what you mean. For example, Harry Potter fanfiction really helps in lessening the impatience for waiting for the next book to come out.
Thanks! I like it too. ;)

So next month is Mansfield Park on BBC or Masterpiece Theatre. I LOVE Mansfield Park. I own that one, Pride and Prejudice, I've read Emma (which I LOVE), but I don't have Northanger Abby. I must have that! I'll have to buy it because of my horrible illness of having to own all I read. Yes, I am out of bookshelf space.

Mansfield Park is next month in the UK and on Masterpiece Theatre in November. :(
I love MP and S&S. Northanger Abbey and Persuasion are the only books of Jane Austen's that I haven't read yet. *chuckles* I'm always running out of bookshelf space!

I think actually it really helps, if you can struggle through it, to read The Mysteries of Udolpho by Ann Radcliffe first, as that's the book Austen is poking fun at in NA. Udolpho is also a fantastic novel, really, and I'd recommend that, too. :-D
