Bet you can’t catch me, Rose says, always running to be chased. Bet you can’t even come close.

Wolves cannot comfort. They cannot hold your hand or call for help or make wordless, soothing sounds. They cannot say, Don’t be afraid. It’ll be all right. They cannot lie.
Rose curls at the man’s side and rests her head on his shoulder. She sighs a breath against his skin, and the man’s eyes close.
“Warm,” he says. It’s hard to read human faces during the moon, but she thinks he might be smiling. “Thank you.”

“Hello,” she says. “You’ve changed your face.”
The stranger’s eyes flick down her naked body, then up again. There’s nothing like interest in his gaze. “You’ve changed your species,” he says in a stranger’s voice. “If anyone should be curious, it’s me.”

There’s nothing for her anywhere, really. If she’s going to be honest about it.
She follows him through the broken door, crawling over splintered wood on her hands and knees.Everything about...everything about this is too wonderful for

Eeeeeeeeeeee! I love Rose's interactions with every single person in this story, but most especially Eight. Of course he would find the breath to make a Red Riding Hood joke on the brink of death. Even as a wolf (perhaps especially as a wolf) Rose has empathy for the dying stranger.
Being a werewolf certainly helps Rose be unfazed by the Doctor's regeneration. Nine's point is valid. :)
I've been staring at this damn blinking cursor for several minutes now trying to figure out what I want to say about this piece. The only thing that's coming to mind is, "Woah. Wow!" It's just left me speechless, I love it so much. I love the progression from her childhood to adolescence to her meeting the Doctor. That temptation to run with Jimmy and the regret when it turns out far worse than she expected. I liked the angst about returning to her mother, knowing she can't (though I'm not sure she's right about that). I adored the interaction between Rose and the Doctor.
I see in your notes that this is unfinished. Do you think there will ever be any more of this story?
!! <3 It's hard to know what to say. I loved all of this, but particularly the Doctor - and of course he'll be able to sympathize with Rose's past. Wolf!Rose is perfect.
But now I need to know: what would happen to a werewolf who travelled in space and time? When would they change???
