My happy thing for today comes from yesterday, when French tennis player Julie Coin, ranked 188 in the world, beat #1 Ana Ivanovic at the US Open. Coin had to qualify to play in the open by winning 3 smaller tournaments, and this is her very first WTA-level tournament. I loved how Coin was saying she wouldn't be able to sleep afterward. So true! Poor Ana, but yay Coin! That's a lot of pressure to handle.

Did you see the Blake/Young match the other day? Unbefuckinglieveable. One of the most exciting and unexpected men's matches I've seen in quite some time.
