I've never been called for jury duty, although I really want to be. Of course, when I finally do get called, it'll probably be the day of a big final and they'll give me hell for not being able to go.
I wonder how jury duty would work for me, considering I don't live in NY anymore...? I'll probably just register in Massachusetts and then I won't need to bother worrying about NY... I think...
I'm sure as fuck not traveling all the way back to that hellhole to serve on some jury.
When they summon you, you fill out a form and send it back, and one of the first questions they ask is whether you're still a resident of the county you've being called for. At least, that's how they do it here. From what I can gather it's different state to state.
