What a Glorious Day

Feeling better now. Been a stressful couple weeks with the recent site release. It's a beautiful day out and I get to spend it inside. :(
Of course I usually spend my days in my little man-cave so it's not unusual, except I get paid for it this time.

I had some interesting feedback about my last one. I'm amazed at how many people were

Your icon is cute!
I like the little details on the picture. Especially the cute sandals.

I was struggling with the sandals a bit. I was trying to go for something fashionable, unique but not quite anything I'd seen before. I thought that would fit the character.

I'm glad you like em :)

I like the scallops on the dress, the hat, and the wristband. I'm jealous of your hair. I can never really get the hang of hair. I try to make it too realistic I think, and it comes out messy.

I'm envious of a lot of art techniques for hair styles too. My realistic hair often doesn't come out terribly realistic most of the time, but I'm good at this type of hair. Took me awhile to master. If you practice at it, you can get good at your realistic style.

Come to think of it, I've never seen any of your drawings. You should share sometime.

When you say scallops, what part are you referring to? Do you mean the broaches? I've never heard that word related to clothing before. :)

I just did a quick sketch with Photoshop + small Wacom tablet. I like how it turned out. First time I really used it.

When I saw scallops, I refer to the half-moons on the edge of her dress. :)

You think? Actually, it could make a nice arm tattoo now that you mention it. Thank you, bro. :)
