Ugh, Dar, I'm so far behind. I'm trying to catch up on reading, but this recent entry caught my eye...

I'm so GLAD you got to go to Waterfire. I was in RI for it at the end of August last year. That weekend was what showed me there are places besides Chicago that I'd want to live. I'm considering making a move out to Provi sometime, if even just for a year to get my existence figured out away from the microscope slide that is my life here.

Wow. I had an experience like that, except that I moved here about 5 months later.

I can totally relate to needing to get away from home base, so to speak. I don't feel like I really started growing up until I got out of Texas. Submerging yourself in a totally new environment, away from all the stuff you grew up around, is such an awesome experience. And if you decide to relocate here, you know you've already got at least one friend. *poke*

it might be kinda hard to find a place to live, but other than that
it's a really neat place to live.

somehow everytime i have tried to post a comment in here the internet hasnt let me it either died or just didnt work. so here i am again now trying to post and i dont know if it will work. i just wnated to say thanks for the cartoons and drawings my fave is the big cat it is awsome!!!
is is way cool u got to witness a proposal not many people get to see that. i know ive never seen one anyway.
