First of all, we had the best opening EVER for a tv show
There's one thing I always meant to ask Jack. Back in the old days. I wanted to know about that Doctor of his. The man who appears out of nowhere and saves the world. Except sometimes he doesn't. All those times in history when there was no sign of him, I wanted to know why not. But I don't need to ask any more. I know the answer now. Sometimes the Doctor must look at this planet and turn away in shame. I'm recording this in case anyone ever finds it, so you can see... you can see how the world ended.
We discovered a new ennemy...which goes back home angrier than he never was before...
Many sacrifices were made during the whole series.
And we discovered that ordinaries people can become heroes.
Gwen Cooper was totally badass (and gosh I love that!)
I did smile (and even laugh) in some scenes
Some scenes totally broke my heart.
We discovered many many secrets and oters were revealed
Writers weren't afraid to kill one of the most beloved member of the team
I hold my breathe til the very end watching some scenes we can't believe..happening
To express my whole feeling about this series, I will just quote a journalist:
Director Euros Lyn was consistently brilliant as he dealt with five of the most compelling hours of British science fiction since the similarly themed Quatermass. Actually, referring to the show as 'science fiction' almost does it a disservice, as if it's being dumped into some niche category. It's simply great television. Fact.
