The loneliest days.
junhyung/gikwang
PG-13 ; Angst/Drama
In the company, he always bumps into this skinny boy. He seems pretty awkward and Junhyung thinks his eyesight should be pretty bad considering the huge glasses he's always wearing (that explains, too, why he always stumbles onto everything he finds on his way).

the loneliest days
Chapter OO1
Junhyung no longer remembers all the music companies on which he had been through, how many songs he has recorded, written and lost over the years. He’s an 18-year-old ordinary kid who just joined Cube Entertainment as a fresh trainee after leaving his old group, Xing.
Junhyung wanted to become a singer but his dreams weren’t fulfilled completely, so he decided to leave Xing. He thought of wanting to be an actor, but finally decided to become an idol whatever it takes. His family didn't agree at all but they couldn't do much since he was so persistent into achieving his dream. He’s such a determined guy that he can’t turn back if he already made a decision.
Junhyung started writing songs since he was 14 but didn't show them to anyone else (well he never showed anything to anyone).
He just finished school last year and directly auditioned at the company. It’s been three months, yet he still has no friends. He didn't know anybody but it wasn't a problem for him since he has always been that way. Even though he had spent many years in school, he didn’t keep in touch with anyone. He was never good at making friends and it wasn't as if he wanted to meet new people. Junhyung was kind of a dull guy who could barely remember names but the mystery and apathy surrounding him made everyone curious about his reserved characteristic. There was nothing interesting or mysterious about him and he knew it better than anyone.
_____________
If Junhyung isn’t good at remembering names, doesn’t mean he's not good at remembering faces. In the company, he always bumps into this skinny boy. He seems pretty awkward and Junhyung thinks his eyesight should be pretty bad considering the huge glasses he's always wearing (that explains why he always stumbles onto everything he finds on his way). He's not sure what the boy’s name is and he probably wouldn't remember his face if they didn’t trip over once a week, at least, because they don't only share the same dance and vocal technique classes, but also they take the same route back home. Junhyung prays inwardly that the boy doesn't recognize him when they were in the same car, but the boy seems too absent-minded that even if he bumped into his mother he wouldn't recognize her. Junhyung is afraid that if the boy notices him, he might be obligated to say hello since he’s not really good at making conversations. He just avoids the young boy whenever he can when they’re in the same car, although this time he has to hid his face behind his bangs and stand behind him where they don’t have any chance of making eye contacts. As the train begins to move, Junhyung thinks of this as an ordinary trip. In four stations the boy will get out of the train, and in seven more is his stop. He will walk the three blocks that separate his apartment from the subway. He’s thinking of eating instant noodles probably out of date and sleeping without changing clothes. He was in deep thought that he didn’t realize the young boy’s body is pressed onto him as a guy filled up the remaining space in front of him. He wants to check how many people are in the train but Junhyun gcan hardly breathe as he saw a hand rubbing its way to the young boy’s southern region. He notices as those two hands find his way on the boy's thighs and his crotch, massaging the last area, and sticking even more his chest to his back.
Nobody notices anything. JunHyung is starting to get hysterical, who is this pervert? What is he doing to this precious looking boy in front of him? Perhaps he's in shock and cannot react. His legs barely able to hold him and he grabs the subway bar as strong that he buries his nails on his hand's palm. He's not able to say anything, and if things go on like this, Junhyung doesn't want to think where they may get.
JunHyung wasn’t thinking but he just did what he wants that time. As soon as the door was opened, he made his way through the crowd and took the boy’s arm, dragging him outside. It was very fast, and when he realized, they're outside, running out of breath as the train vanished.
Why you didn't say anything!?' Junhyung knows he shouldn't be yelling at him, but he can't imagine what would have happened if he had not been there. He still holds his arm in a strong grip, and the boy doesn't look at him, he doesn't say anything, he just trembles from head to toe. 'Why you didn't say anything? Ah? You like being touched? That's all about?'
'No' he cries out. He was wearing a high school uniform but Junhyung thinks he doesn't look bigger than an elementary school boy. The boy starts to sob with his eyes fixed on the floor and Junhyung clicks his tongue because he can't believe the first time he did something for someone was precisely to thwart a rape attempt.
'What's your name?' it's the only thing that he comes up to ask after dragging him outside the train. Junhyung bought him a hot drink and as they sat together in an empty subway. The boy stopped crying already.
'Lee Gikwang' he murmurs softly, without lifting his eyes.
'I see... so you are Lee Gikwang' he says more to himself than to the boy who doesn't speak of shock. They don’t say pretty much in a while 'Gikwang... do you want me to take you home?’ Junhyung doesn't want to, but he feels like he must. He can't leave him alone like this. The boy lifts his head, both hands around the drink to keep himself warm, and he nods, a little scared.
_____________
When he arrives home, Junhyung is pretty much dying of cold but Gikwang seemed to be colder than him, so he left him his jacket. He made all the way back home with only a thin shirt. He doesn’t know what he’s doing. He would leave everyone dying of cold, before taking his jacket off, but he didn't. He completely forgot about his instant noodles and threw himself on his bed. He didn't think too much about GiKwang until he fell asleep with loud snoring.
