Expectations for next week: The SSEF, a prestigious science fair that by a surprising twist of fate my project was selected to compete in. My teacher-mentor turns out more excited by the prospect of my attendance than I am, although I try to mask it beyond that of 'oh it's just lovely. I think the earliest horror movies I've seen that I really liked were The Innocents (1961) and Diabolique (1955). Diabolique isn't even really a horror movie until the last part, but it's good, and The Innocents is an adaptation of Henry James' The Turn of the Screw which I like much better than the book. It builds up well and surprisingly did creep me out at parts.
