EDIT: I'm sorry if I wasn't clear in my wording - by "tail on the back" I mean a screen print drawing of a tail printed on the pack of the shirt (just like the front) there will be an image on the front and the back of this t-shirt. Sorry for the confusion ( Read more... )

it's a cute concept, reminiscent of the Fake Tuxedo t-shirts! I don't buy many tshirts since I have so many already I never get to wear. I'm not sure if the big white chest will be a big non-ventilated patch of plastic, much like some con shirts I rarely wear.

Maybe figure out some ideas of what kind of tail it should be? I could see perhaps making a tail for a night shirt, but a simple pointed tail, perhaps with some motion lines as if wagging would be cute?

I love the ideas you've come up with. I hope it's a viable business model that you're able to recoup the investment in making the shirts. Best wishes!

Thanks for the feedback. The white part will not be a big chuck of plastic (I hate that too) it will be screen printed (just like my other shirts).

I guess I didn't think to add a tail on the back because I figured most people would enjoy wearing their own tails with it not to mention printing two sided shirts cost more in materials and labor. So just seeing if it would be worth my while, if it would really sway buyers or if I should just leave it be :) I think the tail would be simple and small (in other words not taking up the whole back of the shirt).

I was really flattered you snagged a shirt from my at AC, really it made my day :) I know t-shirts aren't for everyone (I personally own way too many too and I don't think I've ever gotten a con shirt...) so find the market and making them happy can be tough at times. Thanks for the input! :)
