This was on Chicagoist this past week. Hilarious! Everyone brought up the same issues you did. "Well hell, I guess I'll be buying a kilo now since I can't get my dimebag!"

And duh, there's always aluminum foil, saran wrap, etc. Let's ban all that too while we're at it.

We both had to post about "stupid" and use "UR" in the subject line today. Magical psychical connection!

Department's Narcotics and Gang Unit, said the ordinance will be an "important tool" to go after grocery stores, health food stores and other businesses.

Because, you know, health food stores are a hotbed of drugs and gangs. You better not go into aisle 15 in Whole Foods if you know what's good for you. That's BK territory.

Even more awesome, the text ads on that article linked to sites that sell small poly bags.

I wonder if they'll ban Kool-Aid. I saw an episode of Cops recently where the officer found some with drugs and said that was a common technique for packaging powders these days. Steam the little envelope open and in goes the shit, then reseal.

wow, that's pretty clever. Everyone knows blacks love kool-aid. Next cops will be bustin' into buckets from the colonel.

Those were made illegal in DC years and years ago, back when I lived there. The um...people...that I *cough* knew had to buy them online from companies that provided products to jewelry stores.
