I don't think any of that was offensive. I kind of agree about feminism sometimes, but it's one of those things where there's no real definition. So I would call myself a feminist but at the same time I would not want to be associated with the whole movement on some issues and then on others I feel like we aren't even angry enough.
I agree with you about privilege but it's hard to not hate the haves sometimes when you see just how much the have nots are lacking, even though it's no fault of the haves.
yeah, I get what you're saying. It's just the attitude that some people have towards privilege that bothers me sometimes--it's as if it's more important to criticize and ostracize the "haves" than it is to help the "have nots," you know? I'd rather try to correct a problem than complain about the people who aren't suffering because of that particular flaw in society. Does that make sense?
