I hit this the moment the alert came up on ff.net because I'm desperate like that, but ... held off until now to explode in squee. Honestly, I can't wait to see where this is going; Shisui is so vibrant and wonderful in this and oh Itachi -- he's perfect and totally not fazed by Shisui at all and sob, knowing where this all ends and the things he's doing that Shisui doesn't understand and I'd like to think that Itachi is trying to protect him from INEVITABLE DOOM but goddamn fucking Uchihas.

Anyway, I love this and am wiggling about impatiently waiting for the next installment.

(And considering I run karaoke-soul.net I can't be pointing any fingers, and he can come up with amazing songs with stupid names anyway because really? Mermaid Blues? Skipped it on principle until I heard a live recording and cried and kicked myself for being such a fucking retard.)

Oh my god, Mermaid Blues *____* You know this song is everything I live for, because I have a lethal addiction to watery metaphors, and don't be surprised if the lyrics pop up in a later chapter. I think you might be able to guess which stanza might be used too...

Please zip it to me! I just went and bought a bunch of his songs recently, but I don't think I have any from that album.

I wanted to take a break to write this KisaIta oneshot (IT IS ALL ABOUT ITACHI THIS WINTER), but now my brain is all McRae'd again and I just... HAVE TO WRITE THE NEXT CHAPTER NAO. There are only about three more anyway.

I'm just - I enjoy reading Shisui voice SO MUCH but on the other hand I'm also DYING INSIDE from what is going to happen and just. SO TRAGIC. SO DOOMED. AND YOU'VE MADE ME LIKE HIM SO MUCH. *shakes fist!*
