You kill me with things like this: “It is,” Itachi said at last, “a very difficult task.” His voice was thick, almost slurring around the words. The density of it devastated the still, still air.

I will be sorry to see this Shisui-characterization go, but really I'm waiting in anticipation for the Shisui of the one-handed-choke fame.

Oh, that Shisui is so coming back, you just watch. Now that I've gotten over the whole "Shisui can't be evil it'll break my heart" and "13YOs can't have sex the thought causes me physical pain" complex, the curtain is rising on a brand new creepier regime. I don't think I'll even actually retire this characterization, though. It's like a favorite dress, you can closet it and stuff it full of mothballs but it'll be worn again and again.

OMG, and here I thought I would see someone go down the river 8D Hmm. Let me guess: Itachi will ask Shisui to kill him, and Shisui will make Itachi kill him, instead and then Itachi will have to do everything all alone? AND how can you be fed up with this Shisui? I want to marry him and have his babies, or something!
