applegnat is brilliant. Everything she writes or says is shiny and awesome and full of esoteric wit, and she was one of the people I would definitely have recced you. Been reading her fic since 2006, even though sometimes I have nfc who the people in her stories are *___*

But I refuse to believe someone as beautiful into the Jesus as Kaka would stoop so low as to dally with the likes of C. Ronaldo. I mean, ewww.

It... was pretty epic whoop-assing. Made me kind of sad, really. Germans have no mercy, man, they're like friggin' autmatons. Maybe that's why they're such great football players.

I don't think I'm getting the right thing out of this story because I just want to grab Shisui and lock him in my closet and charge people admission to flail about how cute he is. Wartime drama? What wartime drama?

I LIKED HIS SHUNSHIN THE BEST. Little prodigy activating his legendary technique for the first time in search of his cousin/future lover, it's so perfect. And the description of minute adjustments to the technique, struggling for control--I loved those too.

I wonder if he'll run into other Konoha types on his little epic quest? Obito's team, the Yondaime, hell, even Orochimaru was around for this war. It'd be interesting to see!

But that is exactly what you're supposed to get out of this story! The whole point of that ridiculous and cheesy scene with the kami and the Totoro tree was to emphasize the fact that Shisui - other than being a boy - is totally a Miyazaki protagonist.

I think I might enjoy Toyshipping them more than actual shipping, with hugging and kissing and shit. Who needs those things?

At this point in time, Obito is probably already dead, so his team has probably disbanded. Plus Yondaime can't really lead them anymore once he becomes Hokage, right? Also, NO, I will not fulfill your RD fantasy and have him run into Orochimaru D:

I can't believe Shisui had to go through that in order to gain his Shunshin. Poor baby - I just want to wrap him up and carry him home and then chase after the ninjas who intercepted Itachi's teams' path and kick their asses. And I can't stop loving the mystical wolf. Nor Benkei, who sounds quite adorable. :)

I signed up for the exchange, so now you owe me your first-born, okay? I'm still wondering how such a level of insanity overcame me in a moment of weakness to prompt me to join.

That scene was very hard to write. I bit my lip while plotting it out too. I'm not cut out for writing fast-paced action-driven stories. Maybe that's why it sucks so much. Shunshin by itself is only a D-level jutsu in Naruto-verse, not something you can spontaneously acquire like the Sharingan. I just assume he took the technique that was probably taught to him in school and tried to improve upon it to his own specifications. Genius needs hard work too.

Haha, don't be ridiculous! You're really good at writing action stories, if this fic is anything to judge by. Ngh, I didn't even think about the technicalities of Shisui's Shunshin. Basically, in my head it's just... ZOOM---! Because Shisui can do that. 8D

I hunt for you with bloody feet indeed. I wasn't really expecting Kyuubi to get all mixed up in this and I have to say, knowing that the demon fox is involved makes me even more anxious to see what you've got up your sleeve for this story.

Heh. Yeah. I did a bit of canon-wrangling in order to get the Kyuubi into the story. Hopefully it'll be worth it. It's nice to write something with a sense of where you're going to go with it for a change.
