Finally some progress! What is Severus' problem? Was it his parents' marriage (reflecting on canon Snape memories) - and their resulting inability to separate due to legality, despite a dangerous and unhappy relationship? I can see that point, but I still have never understood how an otherwise very intelligent adult can let that sour them on the whole institution. Emotions are powerful, and influence a whole person's life - they can even control it if you let them, but it seems to me that Severus has always been in such control of them. Has he missed this one, and formed this reaction out of denial? It is sad that he would allow that, if he were aware, and cause such pain & sadness & distance out of his own fears developed in his childhood. Eagerly awaiting the next installment!!
This series is such great fun, and our heroes so very spirited and stubborn. And odly lovable none the less.... A hilariously delightful read. Thank you!
