So, I've been on un-official hiatus for... 6 months? Possibly 7. Sorry about that. I've been wanting to post again for a few weeks now, but I'd lost a lot of interest in HP fandom lately, and I've only just gotten back into reading fanfic again maybe three weeks again? In the mean time, I got a great deal of real book reading done and sort of

Wow, I'm sorry about your cat, hurts losing a pet. I am happy that you're feeling ok and I hope you get the job that you want. Work work and more work for me, trying to survive a department restructure and waiting to see if my job is intact, but we're alive, that's gotta count for something I guess, take care of yourself and glad to know you're still here.

So far so good, regarding the job. My manager keeps telling us we're fine, but a part of me knows that may not be true...but I'm going to keep working and trying to see if there are other spots I may qualify for within the company. Keep your fingers crossed.

Good luck with the job applications! I've been having very little response to my own applications. But here's hoping that your shiny new degree will assist you in gaining more interviews.

It was, but now that's it's over, I think it was for the best. I never realized how much of a dictator she was over the other cats until she was gone and they started coming out of their shells a lot more.

It sounds like we're in the same very frustrating boat. ::sigh:: Heard anything yet? I certainly haven't, although I think my director is trying to plot a way to afford to put me on full-time in our tiny, tiny budget.
