Scripts website, Heroes promo vid

Holy freaking moly. It's 6:00 in the morning and I haven't gone to bed. Stupid screenplay, keeping me up. I've been working for hours and hours on it and I only have five pages to show for it. Those five pages have to be workshopped tomorrow, so I'm glad they don't have to be perfect. But, geez, is the formatting for screenplays ridiculous or ( Read more... )

Good luck with the script writing! Hopefully you can get some great pointers in class today (?)...

I remember when Moulin Rouge! first came out I was so obsessed I requested and got someone on an MR Yahoo group, if you can believe it, tofedEx me a copy of an early version of the script. I guess you could say that was one of my very first utter fangirl moments lol. I still have it! And I've never read the whole thing, because as you say those things are LONG.But. I did manage to read a couple parts and it's amazing how much scripts change over time. There was a whole subplot in the orginal that got taken out in MR. I think there was more about Christian's father/family... I can't remember now but yeah. V. interesting. I should dig tht thing up. Or maybe it's on that web site! lol.

I'm sorry but that promo makes me cringe. A lot. Especially the end. I know you like Paire but oh God. I hate it. Sorry! *offers olive branch* But they're RELATED! Gah. OK I diigress... I'm glad Nathan's alive! :) Although he might be evil. And I really ( ... )

Yes, that does sound rather fangirly. And you're right about how scripts change over time - I remember listening to Peter Jackson talking about the LotR scripts, and how they were constantly rewriting them, to the point that the actors didn't even get to read all of the copies. They'd receive one, but then a couple hours later another revised version would be sent to them.

Haha, I understand - there's always got to be one hater on the Paire. LOL. I still maintain that Kring never should have related them in the first place - perhaps he's giving the Paire fans a treat by giving them an alternate reality where they're not related. Or maybe he's seeing the error of his ways and has decided to have Peter adopted or something. Those are probably the only circumstances where I can see Claire confessing her love. Or perhaps I'm reading to much into this and her "I've always loved you" isn't a declaration of romantic love, more of a, "I've always loved you, much in the same way I loved my blonde hair. But unfortunately, it had to go ( ... )

I can honestly say I would have considered them as a ship if they weren't related, but as it is, it squicks me. Sorry!

"I've always loved you, much in the same way I loved my blonde hair. But unfortunately, it had to go. And now, so do you."

*g* That made me rotflol. XD

I'm sick of evil priests. Blech.

Yeah me to.

I just love the new Heroes promo, and not just for the wonderful Paire in it, but because the whole thing looks so good :D I have no idea what the context of the Paire scene is, but it looks like it involves more inappropriate chemistry, so I'm happy :D

I'm excited to see The Dark Knight, too, especially since I've heard good things about it. There's nothing worse than anxiously awaiting a film's release, only to find out it's been universally panned *lol*

There's actually a post over at paire_love that suggests that another scene in the promo is a Paire scene, so I'm excited about that possibility, too. Go Paire! :)
