Movies? Yes.

I really have nothing to say. These past two days have been extremely boring - just me procrastinating, pretty much. And trying to sleep, because I've been having some sleeping issues.

So, with nothing important to say, I'll just talk about a couple movies I've seen lately.

Say Anything - John Cusack. Such love. He's one of those actors ( Read more... )

Natalie

Reservoir Dogs is Tarantino at his best. And Harvey Keitel is fabulous!

Stand By Me: I am a huge fan of that movie. So beautiful!

Harvey Keitel was really good. :D Michael Madsen was probably my favorite though; he cracked me up.

Sounds like you're on a John Cusack kick, at the moment ;) I have to see Say Anything; it's one of those classic 1980s' movies I've just never gotten around to seeing.

I watched it with a friend of mine and he kept getting annoyed when I kept screaming, "My baby! My baby!" every time Teh Bale got beat up, mugged, or, you know, hurt in any way, even though he played a racist killer.

I can picture you screaming at the tv, and your friend's look of annoyance *lol* Didn't know Christian was in that movie :)

River plays young Indy in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade; it's not a big role, but the movie's a classic which you should see, if you haven't already :) I've heard that My Own Private Idaho is supposed to be good :)

Say Anything is great - maybe a bit overrated, but stilll good. :)

I didn't know he was in it at first, either, but I saw he was in it on IMDB. And then, of course, I had to see it. :D

Ahhh, I have definitely seen that Indiana Jones flick! Every time we'd watch it, my mom would start talking about River Phoenix for such a long time that we'd have to pause it. :D

Have you seen Pulp Fiction yet?

Stand by Me is full of awesomeness.

I forget-- you've seen Donnie Darko, right?

Nope, but Pulp Fiction is next on my list of Tarantino movies. :)

I haven't seen Donnie Darko yet, either, but people keep saying I need to.

Nat! *hug*

I'm sorry you're still having trouble sleeping, did you try Melissa (lemon balm) or orange tea? my grandma says it's calming and helps to sleep.

Say Anything: I fell in love with John Cusack with that movie *sigh* If a guy stands in the rain with the radio over his head for me, he owns my heart.

Steel Magnolias: Love it! it has all drama, comedy and that chick flick feeling. Totally a girls movie and it always makes me cry.

Stand By Me: There's something about this movie that makes my heart aches, maybe because it was my class's favourite movie, I watched more than 30 times when I was in school, we started watching it when we were 11. The whole idea it's perfect, a great adventure, your best friends, them against everybody, the film manages to show us, the last moments of innocence of childhood.
I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone? I bawl everytime.

No, I haven't tried either of those, but thank you for the suggestions! :)

One complete WORD about those movies, especially about Stand By Me. I saw that line on his computer screen and just went, "Oh crap, that's totally true" and spent the next couple of hours feeling nostalgic.

That line is so true it's scary, now I want to watch Stand By Me again. I'm gonna need tissues.

Heroes tonight!

Oh John Cusack. I have a permanent crush on him. I can't wait to see Martian Child and Grace is Gone when it comes out. I ♥ him. I even saw 1408 for him.

And you saw Res Dogs! :D Yay. My fave character is Orange (and White, too). I just love Tim Roth. And Harvey Keitel. And Steve Buscemi! lol I could go on and on I guess.

And yeah, Shaft was hilarious. And I also saw it for teh Bale. ;D

Ha, I saw bits and pieces of 1408. I thought it was sad. Martian Child was good, but I think Grace is Gone sounds better. :)

Mr. Orange was great. I loved his, "SHE KILLED ME!" rants, LOL. Although every time I see Tim Roth, I think of his character in Rob Roy and I get creeped out. :)

Ha, another person who thought Shaft was hilarious.

Btw, what's your icon from?

Oh man, I can sympathize! That was the first role I ever saw him in I'm pretty sure. Frea. Kay.

The icon's from High Fidelity. :) One of my fave Cusack flicks.
