Opinions?

I need help! I have a decision to make by tomorrow morning. Should I take five or six classes this semester? If I took six, I'd have three a day - excluding Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Basically this is a toss up between two classes, both of which fill general education requirements.

Opinions?

And now I'm off to study.

Yay, a Studious!Nat sighting!

ASL sounds *really* cool, but if you take five, I'd say to go with Biology and get it out of the way.

Besides-- you have CFS, yes? 6 classes + 1st semester = stress + sleeeeeeeeeeeepynowkthxbye. Pace yourself. :)

Besides-- you posted with your John Carter icon. It's a portent. :)

(The only time I ever took six classes at once was when the two extras were choir and voice lessons for a whopping 1 credit each. If you're between 14-17 credits, you're in a good place. 18+ is asking for trouble...)

Hiya! I tried to see if I could take Bio but to no avail. The class takes place at the same time that my English class does (yes, I'm now taking English!). So I think I'm going to go with ASL for my fifth class. :)

LOL, I will always remember that sentence when I'm thinking about taking on a lot at once. :D

I'm not going to vote, instead i'll say this: taking 6 classes should depend on what you can handle. If you feel like you can handle the homework load from 6 classes plus tests (think ahead to mid terms and finals) then go for it.
you can always check ratemyprofessor.com for some ratings. But make sure you know when the drop/add period ends. (and the final day to withdraw form a class without a real grade... just in case.)

GOOD LUCK!!!

I'd stick to five classes for your first semester - you don't want to weigh yourself down too much right off the bat. Similarly, if your schedule is already difficult, I'd stick with sign language. If you're not feeling like it's going to be TOO BAD as is, go ahead with biology.

Hi, I think you should take five classes. Less is better for the first semester.
