It's not that I'm angry or upset or anything, or that I'm extremely happy about anything...I don't know what it is. That's just how I feel right now

Hi, I went here thru the link in neela_ray. I have to say, that picture post wasn't really objective, but WHO CARES, lol. Your Ray/Neela points were well-made.

Gates was really annoying in that episode. I mean, at least Ray tried to hide his feelings in later episodes b/c Neela was married. Gates still actively pursued Neela even though she mentioned she had a boyfriend...ugghhh, sorry, but I just hate those kind of forceful guys.

Yep, Gates is a paramedic. Neela is an actual doctor. Tho, according to spoilers, Gates is going to become an intern. :o

My dream right now is to be a paramedic -_-* though I'm horrible at math, and it's amusing how they sometimes get facts wrong when paramedics are in shows like ER. They make it all dramatic and blah hard to explain online hehehe It's easier to explain face to face instead of typing y'know?

What happened to good television?

At what stage do writers bring 'friends' on the show because their shows got cancelled? (I'm presuming this is what happened?) Is this good television?

Where is the wit? The careful planning? The buildup, the anticipation? What is possibly served by making some of your most dedicated viewers hate the writers? (Because, let's face it, us Ray/Neela shippers are a damn dedicated bunch)

Someone mentioned inconsistent plots. The unpredictability.

Well, I'm sorry, but ER has become so predictable lately. It's so predictable that they are re-hashing old storylines from years gone by.

Any votes on when Luka will get a brain tumour? Anybody?

I'm not at that point yet. I didn't watch the show in its early years (tho, thanks to DVDs I can now), so I don't really know about rehashing storylines or any of that.

I'm really thinking they'll go the route of Gates being a rebound. I really really hope they do.
