Notorious and revered mallorys_camera raised an interesting point. Would you go back and assassinate Adolf Hitler? The thing is, by changing time it could bring about something worse. Personally I'd opt for Oliver Cromwell. He did the Shoah, but for Irish folks. I am trying to recall a Czech Sci Fi film "If it is next Tuesday I'll be killing myself" or some such ( Read more... )

Well, I don't know. I just think something like National Socialism was always likely to emerge in post-war Germany. Had Hitler been assassinated he would have served the movement as its fallen prophet- and fallen prophets can be just as potent as living leaders

Not in 1923, he would have been a side note. Remember, Germany almost went communist in the 20's.
