Kemi Badenoch has won the Tory leadership and I have quit the party. I joined the day Bozza resigned. Jenrick wasn't much good but at least had a defined idea on Britain leaving the ECHR and mass illegal immigration. As Sartre said I have "clean hands" (no political allegiance any more

A decade or two ago, I was an officer in the Libertarian Party of Chicago. Some wingnuts in the organization decided it would a swell idea to march with ACORN to protest whatever war was on at the time. I was aghast at the tone-deafness this implied and immediately resigned. I've not been involved in politics much since.
