BACKGROUND
Name: Caitlin
Age: 24
Interests/Hobbies: Writing, acting, photography, astrology, videogames, recreational research
Strengths/Positives: Independent, Loyal, Competent, Passionate
Weaknesses/Negatives: Sarcastic, Impatient, Reserved, Distrustful
What do you love?: My family and friends; history, especially ancient; theater; music; philosophy (mostly Classical and East Asian); comedy; play-writing; animals; the sea
What do you hate?: Hot weather, insects, busybodies, rude people, people who drive badly, bullies, liars, being stifled in my endeavors
Describe yourself in three words: Contradictory, Introverted, Creative
What do you fear most?: Losing people I love, making a mockery of myself, not accomplishing all that I dream of.
Do you prefer to be stamped as a male or female character, or does it matter?: This time around, I'd like to be stamped as a male character. Thanks!

CHOOSE
Duty or Adventure?: Duty
Forgiveness or Revenge?: Forgiveness
Lust or Innocence?: Both
Beauty or Brains?: Both, though if I have to pick, I'll choose beauty.
Love or Ambition?: Love

ARE YOU MORE...
Discrete or Tactless?: Discrete
Manipulative or Unassuming?: Unassuming
Dispassionate or Emotional?: Emotional
Leader or Follower?: Follower; I can lead if necessary.
Outspoken or Shy?: Shy around strangers, outspoken around family.
Arrogant or Humble?: Mostly humble, with arrogant moments.
Shrewd or Naive?: Mostly naive, but I can be very shrewd in important decisions.

ROME
Who is your favorite Rome character and why?: I really cannot pick a single character, but I LOVE Antony, Octavia, Niobe, Brutus and Cicero. Antony is such a charming asshole of a man, Octavia is intelligent and strong, Niobe and Brutus are such beautiful and tragic characters, and Cicero is, well, so very Cicero!
Who do you relate to the most?: I probably relate to Eirene the most. I know what it's like being caught between two worlds, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. I sometimes feel like a stranger around people I know and love.
Who is your least favorite Rome character and why?: Hmm. I really don't like Cleopatra or Gaia. They're so manipulative and annoying to me, I can't really explain it better than that. I also have no special love for older!Octavian. He just...rubs me the completely wrong way.
Do you have a favorite quote from the series? If so, what is it?: "Fortune pisses on me once again."

QUESTIONS
How do you accomplish your goals?: By a lot of hard work and devotion to my cause. I don't like asking for help, but I will do so if circumstances require it.
Rome is slipping farther away from its republican days and into a dictatorship. Where do you see yourself amid the chaos? Where do your allegiances lie?: I can see myself laying low. I wouldn't want to be involved in these matters. In fact, I might be persuaded to get out of Rome for awhile. To me, the late republic had turned into such a bloodbath that I might be tempted to adopt a "wait and see" attitude with the dictatorship of Caesar. I'd feel the atmosphere sliding into violence and I'd really want no part of it, supporting neither the cause of the Senate nor that of the dictator.
Brutus and Cassius: tyrant killers or filthy murderers?: Both; I know they did what they thought was right, in a knee-jerk reaction kind of way. But the murderous betrayal of Caesar (especially by Brutus) is something that really offends my sensibilities. There should have been another answer...
A member of another powerful and influential family has insulted one of your own. What do you do about it?: Personally? I don't care what other people say that much. I can't remember which ancient author said it, but basically the saying is that the more you react to someone's charges or slanders, the more it appears you're guilty of them. I'd want to lay low and appear much more virtuous than the slanderers. They'd get theirs in the end, anyway. The gods would see to it. If they were physically threatening my family, then I'd raise some hell. But only then.

Anything else you think we should know?: Nope.
[Optional!] Feel free to give us a brief description of yourself or a picture (image or URL):
