The flooding that started several weeks ago resulted in consequences more serious than previously expected. Many buildings, including living spaces and corporate institutions, have suffered much water damage, and many people are still displaced after the evacuations because their homes are no longer livable. It ought not to be. If the intense heat is due to a malfunction in the dome's climate control, someone should be fixing it. Or perhaps someone it trying to do so and it's taking this long to work on it.

It better not take too long. The city is suffering enough casualties as it is.

I want to believe they do, but considering how they've previously dealt with emergency situations it's becoming more difficult to have faith in them.

If they expect us to wait it out like with the other occurrences, too many citizens will die. Even though food is available, the human body needs water to survive, especially under this sort of heat.

I was ordered to keep guard at the immigrant sector in case any disorder breaks out. Everyone has been instructed to stay indoors out of the heat and to manage our water intake so what little potable water is available lasts as long as possible. Other than that, I haven't been told much else.
