Excellent story but...but what do they do? I know it doesn't really matter except here I was, trying to get caught up in the story an I kept getting on stuck on the fact that I didn't actually know what Pete's group did. And I get that since most of it was from Brendon's perspective, and he didn't know what they id that was fine but by the end of the fic Brendon has to know what's going on, right? But the reader still doesn't. So. That was the only weird thing about this. Becuase, what makes Pete's mob better then the other mob? what pd the yo that makes them the "good guys".

Thanks for the comment and feedback! I'm glad you seem to have liked the story. I see what you mean about that, for sure. The thing about that is, though, I was kind of trying to leave it up to the imagination a bit! I didn't want to explain all the details of the group, because where I'm coming from, the story is much more about the relationships than the job, you know? I also really love stories where I don't fully understand the things like that, so it's kind of how I write them. But if you're super curious to know what they really do and what makes them good and such, don't hesitate to send me a message! I'd be glad to explain it to you there.

I adored this fic so much, and I'm not even a fan of those sorts of fics generally, or of dear old Ryan Ross. But yep, I'd also be interested in knowing what makes them the "good guys", if that's alright?

Oh dude. So I don't even like mafia type fiction? It's not something I'd ever have considered reading before, but this story completely changed that. I really love the interrogation/kidnap scenes - it was so interesting to read the tension and the way Brendon and Ryan spoke to the 'bad guys

I love that you love Brendon! At first I was kind of worried about him because he acts like such an asshole in the beginning and you are so anti Asshole Brendon that I was like OH NO CLO IS GONNA HATE THIS, but I figured that since that all gets explained and it doesn't last forever that it'd be okay with you, and you were totally going to be my harshest audience in that aspect! So I'm glad that worked for you.

I still can't believe I wrote a Ryan Ross you liked, TWICE IN A ROW. Although you maybe didn't like him in the last one, but you did tell me it was written right so I count it as a win, hahaha.

dude. this was so awesome. i always think that i won't like mob fics when i read them but they're ALWAYS AMAZING. i loved ryan in this especially, and pete being all badass. seriously, great job! :D
