This is something I rarely see - emotional RPF. It's moving in a profound way - I often wonder about actors that play long-time couples in a drama. Yeah, it's acting, but at some point it moves beyond that into a netherworld between RL and MakeBelieve.

You've given me a new fantasy - Jamie & Katee as another couple in another drama. Woohoo!

The emotional stuff like this is what I love *most* about RPF, especially in their case - since there's family and drama that could easily ride roughshod right along with it.

*flails*

Oh, darling, that was absolutely perfect. Love how sparsely you;ve written it, and how you've managed topack such an emotional punch in there. And ITA with baciami above - I'm on board the new fantasy of Jamie and Katee as a couple n another drama (hah - they would so completely sell it)

And the inevitability of the end... gasp.

Thank you so very, very much.

I'm so glad you liked it! These two are so perfect for that painful emotional gut-wrenching stuff. Yay! Heee.

Love the emotional depth, love the longing and connection, love the tease of the new show with them. *sigh* wouldn't THAT be wonderful??
