Generation Kill Minor Characters Ficathon
What is it?
· A ficathon centered around the minor characters in the Generation Kill miniseries. That means, while the major characters (defined for this purpose as Lt. Nate Fick, Sgt. Brad Colbert and Cpl. Josh Ray Person) are allowed to be included, they are not to be the focus of the fic. They can be a plot point, but they’re not to be central to the story.
How does it work?
· If you’re interested in writing, sign up by submitting a minimum of two (2) up to a maximum of five (5) prompts. For purposes of matching (and my sanity), at least one of the prompt requests must center around one of the characters in the following list. All other prompts can be about these or any other minor character.

How do I post my story?
· This information will be on the master list post as well, but please follow these guidelines when posting.
· You’re more than welcome to write more than one of the prompts you’re given. In fact, I encourage it because more GK fic is AWESOME; however, you’re only required to write one story of at least 1000 words. After the challenge/ficathon is over, perhaps I’ll post a list of all the remaining/unwritten prompts for people to have fun with, a la the “Yuletide New Years Resolution” stories.
