This is sweet and sad and lovely and awkward, just like it should be. Kevin trying to do the right thing even in the midst of the wrong thing. ::wibbles::

How do you not have a crush on Kevin? I don't think it's possible. In my fanon, he and Julia are coffee buddies and bestest friends.

They're just pretty together, and in my head, they're great friends, so this works, even though it doesn't. And it was damn hard to write, which wasn't what I expected.

Hehe. This line made me laugh so hard.

Is there something like a gay equivalent for "three beer queer"? If there is, I think Kevin might be it. Only that it takes a lot more than three beers, considering the amounts of alcohol the Walkers are used to...

PS. I agree with inlovewithnight - I'm sure Julia had a crush on Kevin first. If you ever feel like writing it (because you write Kevin&Julia so well), how about some pre-series Julia POV fic where Julia meets Kevin and falls for him, and only when he tells her that he's gay, she turns towards his brother?

I think that Kevin's got a soft spot for Julia - I think they're friends and he knows what it's like to be a little outside. I think that Julia didn't like William very much and she and Kevin used to drink or drink coffee and talk about that, and maybe they love each other a little.

Also, I think Kevin knows what it's like to suffer for Tommy's inability to do something, so he knows what Julia's going through, so he knows he can help, maybe, a little, so he (pardon the expression) mans up and does it.

I kind of love him a little.
