This is AWESOME. I love how fraught this is, the tension of it and how GOOD it is when it finally lets go. Also, John playing video games is TOTALLY FTW. \o/ You have totally made my day. OMG. TOTALLY.

My husband has requested that I not ever tell him why I had questions about "DOOM" and "QUAKE". It's better for everyone that way.

I'm glad you enjoyed this! I felt so bad that your Yuletide was not amazing that I wanted to make it a little better. I hope it was mostly in character (given that my knowledge of LFoDH comes from reading your fic and having watched "Die Hard" 80 zillion times).
