Which days were you here in Houston for the rain? Because if it was Monday, I hope you were in a place it didn't flood.
Maybe tell him this would be perfect for your anniversary present? Is there anything in Chicago happening at the same time he would want to do? Like he goes with you to the concert, you go with him to the whatever. Or even anything in Seattle he would like to do but you don't, so you tell him you'll go with him for that?
Yeah. I'm looking for inroads. Tried to talk to him tonight and that didn't work so well. Sigh. Luckily September is a little ways away. Fingers crossed!
I want to go so much. Hopefully. Just have to convince the husband that it means so much to me. Right now it seems like he doesn't actually care. Sigh.
I'd love to just spend time in Chicago, but I don't think that's doable. First of all, the Cubs are out of town (bastards), and we'd hvae to accomdate the kids. My plan doesn't put anyone out. Hopefully I'll manage to get it figured out. Fingers crossed.
